Privacy Notice

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect your first name, email address, confirmation that you are 18 or older, your communication choices, whether you volunteered for The First Orbit private beta (including your agreement to the beta terms), and the dates you made those choices.

To prevent automated abuse and spam, our server reads the network address submitting the form, stores a scrambled (hashed, non-readable) version with an attempt timestamp, and automatically deletes it after 24 hours.

How we use and store it

We process your information based on your consent. We use this information to manage the waitlist, send necessary emails from notify.baldieverse.com (confirming your address, welcoming you, and confirming removal requests), and, if you volunteered, to consider you for the private beta.

Your information is stored securely in our waitlist database, hosted by Lovable Cloud, and is processed in the United States. We plan to use MailerLite to send optional news and promotional updates only to people who explicitly opted in and confirmed their email (MailerLite is not currently connected; we will not share information with it until launched). Every promotional update will include a link to unsubscribe. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

Confirmation and removal links expire after 48 hours. Unconfirmed waitlist registrations are automatically deleted after 14 days. Confirmed waitlist entries are kept until the waitlist closes and the product launches, or until you ask to be removed, whichever comes first.

When you confirm a removal request, your personal information is permanently deleted from our active waitlist database. Deleting your registration does not immediately erase routine transactional email delivery logs or server backups, which expire on their own standard schedules.

Who can see it

Your information is stored securely and is only accessible to the Baldieverse Founder. Other visitors cannot see who has signed up.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (such as California, the UK, or the EU), you have the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of your personal data.

You can unsubscribe from promotional updates at any time while keeping your waitlist position, or permanently remove and delete your waitlist entry using our Leave the Waitlist page. Beta selection is never guaranteed, and volunteering does not grant account access.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice periodically. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email and update the Effective Date at the top of this page.
